Emergency Patient Transport ProjectBack
This project provides transport for medical emergencies and maternity cases for people from six villages in Mankosi Community. This is a shared initiative with Mdumbi Backpackers, who offer a vehicle and fuel. The patient pays a small fee to help cover fuel costs.
The villages that use the emergency transport services are far from any health services and hospitals; aside from the patient transport vehicle, there is no other reliable mode of transport to the hospital. Most of these emergencies are life threatening, which makes this project vital to the Mankosi Community.
